Explain commands in your terminal

This document describes how to query commands on your terminal to get a break down of commands with syntax highlighting and definitions for attributes using the kmdr-cli.

Prerequisites

You will need to have kmdr-cli installed on your system and be logged in.

Query a command

Run kmdr explain to return a prompt for entering the command you would like definitions for.

When the Enter your command prompt is returned, enter the command you would like explained and hit the Enter key.

kmdr-cli will return a break down of your command with definitions and syntax highlighting.
